Hummus Crisps by Kashi Review

I have to admit that when I receive those packages in the mail wrapped with Bee tape, my heart gets really excited. I absolutely love being a bzzagent. Why? Because I get the chance to try things for free. Like the Hummus Crisps by Kashi (sea salt and olive oil)

I was anxiously awaiting for these babies to arrive! I had seen the packages and the various different flavors and not ever having heard anything about them. I was excited to try.

I’m a chip girl … I love chips. All types all kinds, all varieties. But these ones were going to be awesome. Not only because they are chips, and I am a chip-o-holic. But these were healthier for you! So I would be able to feel less guilt for over indulging.

The four remaining people in my family stood hovering over me as I read the “Woohoo its hear card” Thee wasn’t going to be any savor the moment time. It was simply time to rip right into them.

The five of us grabbed a crisps and stuck it in our mouth at the same exact time. Two of us took it right back out.  So the crisps are an enjoyable treat for only three in our family. But three out of five is pretty good! More than half!

The problem was not the flavor. If it’s one thing I can hand to Kashi is their undeniable ability to serve up a great taste. So much so, that in spite the fact the first round of trying didn’t go well. We went out and grabbed the “Caramelized onion” Type too and gave those a shot! Again great flavor.

It was the texture that my 6 year old Avery and I had a problem with. They resemble the texture of a pork rind and rice cake mixed together. Or if that grosses you out, more like slightly crispier than normal waffle cone. As a chip girl, I live for the crunch!

But the remaining three “Nick, Britt and Erin” Have made these crisps a normal treat demanded within their packed lunches. THEY LOVE THEM!

I love that they love them too … Because now instead of worrying what all those Cheetos and lays chips might be doing to their hearts, I know that these ones are good for them. Or better for them.

I personally wouldn’t choose these for texture alone, but I am proud to serve them to my family! They are definitely worth a try!

If you try them! Let me know whatcha think!

As always … thanks for stopping by. And I hope you have a great day xxDee
