Talk about blog overboard there for a second. I had joined this place called Tomoson.com because I simply like receiving free shit! Only catch is you have to review the things you get. I promise if you read any of them. I am not blowing smoke up your ass regarding the Vitamin C serum in particular. LOVE IT!
Anyways ....... So I have been busy. Three birthdays back to back. I am feeling so old. My eldest just turned 14! What the heck? My goodness, just yesterday the girl was crawling on the floor and teetle toddling over everything like those weeble wobblers and now she's dating. I guess I don't have to tell you that I am pretty much freaking the heck out about that.
I'm broke! Didn't realize how bad it sucks to use crutches till now. In fact, I remember thinking. "Those look like fun." Yeah, I call bullshit on that notion. I have fallen flat on my face coming up the stairs on those things. KIDS, crutches are NOT as fun as you think. "Seems I gave my foot stress fractures." Along with now having falling arches "Plantar Fasciitis too. Basically, I'm screwed on the being mobile bit.
Still writing. I never knew how hard formatting books for publication is. It is a pain in the butt process if you what the truth. To all you writers out there who self publish with amazon. KUDOS ... you have worked your butt off on your writing, only to work it the rest of the way off the with the technicalities of it.
Got to visit the girl scouts last week. Was invited to teach the kids how to make candles from scratch. Sweetest bunch of girls ever. They gave me flowers for thanks. I was speechless. "Thanks again girl."
Growing pumpkins again this year ... that's them in the picture up there. "doing quite well" So fingers crossed I actually get one this year. I just want to grow a darned pumpkin.
Its a beautiful day out .. the sun is shining, birds are singing, the chimes are humming their tune. Actually As I write that sentence, I am sitting here wondering why I am inside looking out instead of out there enjoying it. In fact. I think after I hang up here ... I will grab a nice tall glass of ice tea and my drawing pad and work on the cover art for my children's book.
I still cringe when I say my children's book. I by all means am not an illustrator. But if you going to self publish you gotta do it yourself. "I can't afford to pay someone to do it for me." Either way, its a story I wrote for my girls. So If only one other person "Buys a copy" then that's great. and its okay if they don't too. I just want the physical copy in mine and my children's hands. I am excited.

That's Bridget the blue bird. Her home is on fire .... I am actually semi worried that I might scare kids with that photo. But then again, if you look at Disney's lion king, they have scar fighting samba with fire and timber. So I am not too worried.
